The Retaining Wall and Pool Deck

All though there is no photos, the original pool was built in a worrying way. Due to the somewhat steep block, half of the pool was built out of the ground and inadequately retained. So the original pavers and garden were subsiding and falling away from the pool area. So before the construction started on the deck. We built retaining walls out of 200 x 75  mm F14 H4 Hardwood sleepers. This helped retain the land and give the owner of the property a bit more assurance that his new pool deck was there to stay.
