The client contacted me for a quote, wanting a nice new forever patio. The existing little patio was there just didn't give enough protection from the unrelenting westerly afternoon Gold Coast sun. So the job was to pull the old small patio down and upgrade to a large insulated flyover to make better use of the large concreted area.
The Patio
This was one of the trickiest Patios I've done. Shaped like a C hugging the house on 5 faces with a splayed front.
Gosh it turned out nice!
100mm AusDek Insulated Sheeting. For span between beams and insulation value it doesn't get any better. Sheets supported by 150 x 65 mm Colorbond beams sitting on 100 x 100 mm 4 mm galvanised steel posts. This patio is built to last
